The Capital Hotels, Apartments and Resorts – The Capital Circle – December 2025 and January 2026 – In partnership with The Capital Zimbali Resort, Our Generation and SmartGames 

1. The competition is open to all subscribers of The Capital Hotels, Apartments and Resorts loyalty programme, The Capital Circle (hereinafter referred to as “The Organiser”).  
2. Competition opens 1 December 2025 and ends on 31 January 2026 
3. Entry mechanism requires the entrant to be a member of/become a member of The Capital Circle and must have made a booking within the month of the competition.  
4. By becoming a Capital Circle member, your contact details will be stored for future marketing activities by The Organiser. Should you receive any marketing communication, there will be a clear option to unsubscribe from The Capital’s correspondence, if you wish to do so. 
5. By booking at any Capital property, entrants will receive 1 single entry for the month that they booked in. 
6. Entrants will only receive 1 entry per booking, no matter how many nights they booked for.  
7. Only bookings within a stay date of 1 year from booking date are considered.  
8. The winning entry must be linked to an active booking at the time of draw. Entries gained via cancelled bookings won’t be eligible for prize draw and will immediately disqualify and entrant.  
9. An extra entry will be awarded when you refer someone. When the referred person successfully books, you will receive 1 single entry for the month that your friend booked in (i.e.  based on booking date).   
10. Entrants will receive an email to their registered Capital Circle email address every time they successfully receive a new entry. This email will serve as confirmation of their current total tally of entries for the month. 
11. Winner will be announced in February 2026 on Organisers’ platforms.   
12. Winners can only win once per 12-month period. 
13. The entrants stand the chance of winning: A 2-night family getaway for four (2 adults + 2 kids) in a spacious Family Suite at The Capital Zimbali Resort, complete with a welcome platter, a special kids’ turndown on arrival, access to the Funverse, daily breakfast, and a buffet dinner at The Copper Restaurant & Bar (valued at R14 450), and 2 x kids’ hampers packed with holiday magic, an Our Generation hamper for her and a SmartGames hamper for him (valued at R2 950) 
14. The prize is valued at R17 400. 
15. Winners will be determined by a random draw by The Organisers.  
16. Accommodation voucher at The Capital Zimbali Resort is valid for 6-months from date of winner announcement.  
17. Accommodation voucher cannot be exchanged for cash and is non-transferable. The voucher is not valid during block out and peak periods and is subject to availability. Block out dates are as follows: Easter/Splash Festival (2-6 April 2026), Ironman Weekend (17-19 April 2026), Freedom Day + Workers Day Week (24 April – 3 May 2026), Women’s Day Long Weekend (7 – 10 Aug 2026) and School Holidays: October 2026 (2 – 12 Oct 2026). 
18. Prize does not include travel to and from The Capital Zimbali Resort.  
19. The Organisers will contact the winner via email or by telephone on 25 October 2025, if available. Should the winner not respond within 24 (twenty-four) hours after the announcement has been made, they will be disqualified, and a new winner will be drawn and announced.  
20. The Organisers accept no responsibility for any problems or technical malfunction of any network or any late, lost, or corrupted entries. The Organisers are not liable for any costs incurred, responses received or any consequences of user error.  
21. The prize is not redeemable for cash.  
22. The judge’s decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into. The Organisers will not be held responsible for any disputes arising from the competition or prizes awarded.  
23. Winners will use the prizes at their own risk. The Organisers will not be liable for any loss, damage, personal injury, or death that is suffered or sustained (including but not limited to that arising from any person’s negligence) in connection with this competition or accepting or using the prize.  
24. The Organisers reserve the right to cancel, modify or amend the competition at any time, if deemed necessary in its opinion and if circumstances out of their control should arise.  
25. The Organisers reserve the right to photograph and publish the winners’ names in any printed media or any other relevant media upon the winner’s consent. 
26. Should any of the winners be found not to have complied with these rules, they may be automatically disqualified.  
27. Any expense/s which may result from the possession of and/or use of the prize/s is the sole responsibility of the winner.  
28. Unless explicitly specified otherwise in the competition section below, individuals who are at least 18 years old and natural persons are eligible to participate. Excluded from participation are individuals serving as suppliers of goods or services related to this competition, as well as directors, members, partners, employees, agents, or consultants of The Capital Hotels, Apartments and Resorts or any entity under its direct or indirect control. Additionally, the competition is not open to spouses, life partners, parents, children, siblings, or business partners of the aforementioned individuals.  
29. Entrants must be based in South Africa. 
30. Entry into the competition implies acceptance of the above.  

Ideal World × The Capital Hotels Giveaway Ts & Cs (One Generation and SmartGames)

1. Promoter
   This giveaway is run by Ideal Cycle & Toys (Pty) Ltd t/a Ideal World (“Ideal World”), in partnership with The Capital Hotels & Apartments (“The Capital”).
   The giveaway is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by Facebook, Instagram or any other social platform.
2. Eligibility
   The giveaway is open to South African residents.
   Employees, directors, and agents of Ideal World, The Capital, and their immediate family members are not eligible to enter.
3. Entry Period
   The giveaway runs from 1 December 2025 to 31 January 2026.
   Entries received outside these dates will not be considered.
4. How to Enter
   Entry requirements will be communicated on Ideal World’s and/or The Capital’s social media pages or website.
   Only entries that meet all stated requirements will be valid.
5. Prize
   The prize details will be specified in the giveaway announcement post.
   Prizes are non-transferable, non-refundable, and cannot be exchanged for cash or alternative prizes.
6. Winner Selection
   Winners will be chosen via a random draw conducted by Ideal World (or a representative appointed by Ideal World).
   The decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
   Winners will be contacted via email/social media/direct message. If a winner does not respond within 72 hours, Ideal World reserves the right to select an alternative winner.
7. Use of Personal Information
   By entering, participants consent to Ideal World using their name and entry details solely for purposes of administering the giveaway, including contacting winners.
   Personal information will be processed in accordance with POPIA.
8. Disqualification
   Ideal World and The Capital reserve the right to disqualify any participant who:

• fails to comply with these Terms,
• submits false or misleading information, or
• engages in any fraudulent or unfair behaviour.

9. Liability
   Participants enter the giveaway at their own risk.
   Ideal World and The Capital are not responsible for:

• entries not received due to technical issues,
• loss, damage, or injury arising from participation or prize use, except where such liability cannot be excluded by law.

10. Changes to the Giveaway
    Ideal World reserves the right to amend, suspend, or cancel the giveaway if necessary (e.g., due to unforeseen circumstances).
    Any changes will be communicated via the same platform(s) used to announce the giveaway.
11. Governing Law
    These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.

Price Match Guarantee Ts and Cs (for Capital Circle Members)  

At The Capital Hotels, Apartments & Resorts, we’re committed to rewarding loyalty, that includes making sure you’re always getting the best deal.  

If you find a lower rate for the same room and dates elsewhere, we’ll not only match it, we’ll offer you an additional complimentary night (room-only basis).  

To claim:  

• Send us dated screenshots comparing the rate on our site and the lower third-party rate. Rates must be identical in value and structure (“apples with apples”), including room type, booking conditions, and included services.  

• Book the cheaper option and email us proof of confirmation and payment.  

• Submit all documentation at least 48 hours before check-in.  

Once verified, your bonus night will be added to your existing booking. Unfortunately, claims cannot be processed in person at the hotel or on the day of arrival.
