The Capital Hotels, Apartments and Resorts – The Capital Advent Calendar Competition

1. The competition is open to all subscribers of The Capital Hotels, Apartments and Resorts WhatsApp Promotions (hereinafter referred to as “The Organiser”).
2. The competition opens on 28 October 2025 and closes on 12 November 2025.
3. The entry mechanism requires the entrant to subscribe to receive promotional messages from The Capital Hotels, Apartments & Resorts.
4. By subscribing,  your contact details will be stored for future WhatsApp marketing by The Organiser. Should you receive any marketing communication, there will be a clear option to unsubscribe from The Capital’s correspondence, if you wish to do so.
5. By subscribing, entrants will receive 1 single entry for the competition.
6. Entrants will receive a WhatsApp to their opt-in number to confirm their entry and subscription.
7. The winner will be announced daily from 14 to 28 November 2025 on the Organisers’ Instagram and Facebook stories.

9. Winners can only win one of 15 prizes.

1. Winners will be determined by a random draw by The Organisers.
2. Accommodation vouchers at SEVEN Villa Hotel and Spa and Zimbali Resort must be redeemed within 6 months, cannot be exchanged for cash, and are non-transferable. The vouchers are not valid during block out and peak periods, and bookings are subject to availability.
3. All vouchers and physical prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or another prize.
4. All prizes are subject to individual Ts and Cs that will be listed to the winner when announced.
5. The Organisers will contact the winner via WhatsApp or by telephone to communicate the win on the day. Should the winner not respond within 24 (twenty-four) hours after the announcement has been made, they will be disqualified, and a new winner will be drawn and announced.
6. The Organisers accept no responsibility for any problems or technical malfunction of any network or any late, lost, or corrupted entries. The Organisers are not liable for any costs incurred, responses received, or any consequences of user error.
7. The prize is not redeemable for cash.
8. The judge’s decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into. The Organisers will not be held responsible for any disputes arising from the competition or prizes awarded.
9. Winners will use the prizes at their own risk. The Organisers will not be liable for any loss, damage, personal injury, or death that is suffered or sustained (including but not limited to that arising from any person’s negligence) in connection with this competition or accepting or using the prize.
10. The Organisers reserve the right to cancel, modify or amend the competition at any time, if deemed necessary in its opinion and if circumstances out of their control should arise.
11. The Organisers reserve the right to photograph and publish the winners’ names in any printed media or any other relevant media upon the winner’s consent.

22. Should any of the winners be found not to have complied with these rules, they may be automatically disqualified.

1. Any expense/s which may result from the possession of and/or use of the prize/s is the sole responsibility of the winner.
2. Unless explicitly specified otherwise in the competition section below, individuals who are at least 18 years old and natural persons are eligible to participate. Excluded from participation are individuals serving as suppliers of goods or services related to this competition, as well as directors, members, partners, employees, agents, or consultants of The Capital Hotels, Apartments and Resorts or any entity under its direct or indirect control. Additionally, the competition is not open to spouses, life partners, parents, children, siblings, or business partners of the aforementioned individuals.
3. Entrants must be based in South Africa.

26. Entry into the competition implies acceptance of the above.
